Diego Rivera

Diego Rivera is a Peruvian musician, orquestrator and composer with more than 35 years in the musical career. He has worked with Peruvian top artists like Cecilia Bracamonte, Lucho Barrios, Rulli Rendo, Damaris, Juan Antonio de Dompablo, Julie Freundt, Jorge Pardo, Nicole Pillman, Fer Reyna, Patricia Loayza, E.G.O, Willy Noriega, Mario Cavagnaro, Luigi Montagne, Jair Mendoza, Bartola  among many others.

He, as a composer and arranger, has been part of many of the most successful Peruvian TV series like LOS UNOS Y LOS OTROS, TRIBUS DE LA CALLE, DEMASIADA BELLEZA, LLUVIA DE ARENA, LA LOLA, ANA CRISTINA and soap operas like ESTRELLITA, produced for the Telemundo Miami network, are solid proof of his musical talent and work.

Diego Rivera is the composer, arranger and conductor of Piratas en el Callao (English title Pirates in the Pacific) soundtrack, the first ever Latin-American 3D animated movie. He has participated in several international musical festivals like the 1er Festival Infantil de la Canción Iberoamericana in Madrid - Spain (1985) Curinfest (1989) in the Netherlands Antilles, Viña del Mar - Chile (1993) among others.

He studied orchestral conduction with David MacKenzie and music for cinema and sound effects with Andreas Weidinger and Matthias Rebstock. He has collaborated with acclaimed Peruvian film directors like Francisco Lombardi and Michel Gómez.

An active member or the Latin Recoding Academy Grammy, Diego Rivera is one of the most recognized composers and producers of his country, a background which allowed him to work with international artists like Noel Schajris (Argentina), Randy Waldman (USA), Abraham Laboriel (Mexico) Vinnie Colaiuta (USA) Leland Sklar (USA) Randy Kerber (USA) Pedro Eustache (Venezuela), Alex Acuña (Perú), Basilio (Panamá) Kokín (México),Lucho Barrios (Perú), Fernando de Madariaga (Argentina), Bezzola (Suiza), Rulli Rendo (Perú) Barbara Muñoz (Chile) and Tania Libertad (Peru).
